In Europe times are all over the place, because everything's up and down, side to side, slip, slide, mud bath, branches, slurry, sand, holes, rocks, squirrels, rainstorms etc.

One rainsbergers record is on the course without the hill. Two the hill in question adds about 1-2 min. It's about 400m 300 vertical feet. Three it was over 15 degrees hotter this year. And 65-80 is a pretty big difference making much harder for Oakley.

Course was same in 2015 and 2016. Maybe Oakley is faster than Rainsberger, but why would Rainsberger have gone 100% all-out when already winning by a large margin if she was aiming to win NXN later in the season?

Just wait and see. Oakley is going to make some huge noise in the postseason and this coming track season. I don't think people realize how good of a performance this is! She would have finished 36th in the boys race!

In typical letsrun fashion of course there will be people to try and diminish any great performance, but this girl is the real deal. Like I said before just wait and see...

AND Mary Cain is the World Record holder in the 8 and the 15! Jordan Hasay is the Olympic 10K gold medalist!

How do you know Oakley went 100 percent all out? She was already winning by a large margin, too.

Big hill ("Big Willis" was 300 ft.) was last run in 2014, not last year. ("Little Willis" remains on current course)

Rainsberger ran same course last year as Oakley did this year. Last year was "normal" temps, 70 degrees, while this year it was 80 degrees. No clouds, early afternoon, and at 6,500 feet.

Of note, Oakley ran a 15:53 for 3 mile at Woodbridge (CA) this season.

Pretty sure she's running NXNSW, not sure about FL.
