Bekele would be more than #onemomile ahead of Mo's marathon PR of 2:08:21. Bekele ran 2:03:03 about a month ago.

We r not talking Marathon here HELLOOOOOOOOOO
I thought maybe Bekele was done.
Then he improved his worst sport and worst Olympic distance to #3 on the all-time list...
As sure as hell he is done on the track

Bekele can win double gold in the 10K and marathon at the 2017 World Champs.
Mo might be able to win a 5K gold since Mr. Bekele will not be in the 5K race.
Do you think that winning just one gold medal in 2017 is going to make Tania tiger kitten satisfied?

Mo and Salazar will be closely watching Bekele.
If Bekele looks like he's going to run the 10000m, they'll focus on endurance work to get Mo to 25:30 at the bell.
If Bekele looks like he won't touch 10000m, they'll focus on 1500m speed as they have been doing.
I expect that Bekele can run under 26:35 these days. I don't think Mo can kick anything more than a 58 in those conditions, so I'd give the edge to Bekele.

Well it's fortunate for Mo that he spends his entire year at Spanish dope camps so he can avoid his cvnt wife.
The key to success is to keep that negativity out of his life. Who could blame him?

False. Bekele is just as good (or just about) at 1500m as Geb.
Nonsense. Geb was just behind El G when he set the indoor world record. You can be pretty certain that Geb was capable of running at least 3,29 outdoors.

You are not saying that you expect Bekele will run 26:35, pulling away from Farah, in the 2017 World Championships, are you?

I heard the IAAF contracts Jama Aden as a back-up timer for the Diamond League in case FAT fails because Jama's that good at timing.

Not entirely true, there are a few little guys who can run near their outdoor times indoors. I bet that 3:31 is pretty close to his best outdoors, but the Monaco track does confuse things as it tends to give a 2sec boost for 1500m.

What does being just behind El G have to do with anything? Sure, I agree that Geb could run 3:29 but so could Bekele. His 3:32 PR opened with a 53 or 54 first lap. It was a tactical race. He was good for 3:29 that day.

Who is Jama Aden? Never seen him before, don't know who you are referring to.
He is a watch holding guy and unofficial training facilitator:
