That is all.
That is all.
Disagree.
In college, Halloween was probably the most consistently fun night of the year.
Now that we have kids, we love dressing up for out neighborhood party (nothing over-the-top... I will be Waldo this year... just like last year... and just like next year...)
I probably agree with you in phases such as adolescence and still-single-but-too-old-to-be-going-to-college-bars...
Why so serious?
Your wife must be boring , some of these costumes are awesome
Wife once did thenPrincess Leia thing for me
Reexamine, I'd love to

Hey dude, turning 13 isn't always easy. But if you want to wear a costume tonight, I say "go for it" and ignore your classmates who are haters. Good luck during your teenage years, there are some ups and downs.
Have you never been to a Halloween party with women in their early 20s?!?!?
Your lack of experience makes me sad.
You obviously don't live in Santa Cruz. Even the homeless dress up on Halloween.

Translation- I have no life and nobody invited me to a Halloween party.
If you are over the age of 12 and you concern yourself with who is faster in a foot race, you need to reexamine your life.

Why? I thought by the macho standards of this board, we encourage people to engage in courtship rituals with the opposite sex much as we encourage them to be fast and make lots of money.
And Halloweenis is such a ritual.

Haha, there are people in costumes sprinkled all over my college campus
Bump
I bet you are real fun at parties...buzzkill, take it some where that cares, like your mom's basement :)
I just had a Halloween party and I am 40. Everyone wore costumes. It wasnt that big, about 30 folks. But I often do examine my life, but these examinations and ruminations rarely have to do with costumes. Should I have less fun? I am aware of the positive of dressing up for Halloween, what exactly are the negatives?

As a hobo, or bindlestiff, I take umbrage at society's negative view of us. It should be noted that while homeless we are not shiftless, as we seek work wherever we go. Also, the stereotype of our wearing a bowler hat, unshaven and smoking a stogie is a micro aggression.
