Sub-2hr project trying to take credit for Ayana's 29:17
Seems like people interested in an unsullied reputation would want to distance themselves from that performance.

Barry Fudge is pudgy.
He could get them from British cyclists…such as Mr. Froome and Mr. Wigins.
They have beta-2 agonists and triamcinolone acetonide IM injections to help with their REALLY BAD allergies and asthma at the TDF. Mr. Wigins did not mention these injections in his fascinating autobiography…that I have not read.
Barry FUDGE, the UK Director of Endurance, needs to develop a running endurance training program for himself.
Correction:
Sir Bradley Wiggins.
I get him confused with Sir Bad Wigins.

1) Ayana beat Wang's 10 k record by 14 seconds with no testing in Ethiopia.
2) Sub2hr. are idiots.
1) is so, so true.
2) I wouldn't go that far, there might be a slight advantage to improved hydration.

He might be a genius, but he would have to explain this:
"Many elite marathoners, for instance, run about 120 miles a week in training. But there was little science to support that regimen, Pitsiladis said. Perhaps 75 miles a week would work just as well for many runners — or maybe any reasonable training program would."
From someone who knew Lydiard (and he will cringe at what I'm about to say), there maybe some truth to this if an athlete has one lighter day per week and they work on there technique and vital strengthening. Also, if you are sore from a hard session the day before but you are supposed to do 75 mins but some times 30-40 mins might be all you can do, which might be fine.
I hear there's this new company, "Max Rager", really wants to break into the energy drink scene...
I know a British 28' 10k guy who went for physiological testing with Barry and British Athletics with a view to moving up to the marathon. Barry found the runner relied heavily on carbs and recommended the runner eat more 'fry-ups' i.e. full english breakfasts in order to become less carb dependent.
Looks like Barry feels he is too carb-dependent and is following his own advice

How did Barry get his job?

Yep, Hawkins got 9th in the Olympic marathon off french fries and sausages.
fred.
Yanni Pitsiladis did experiments with marathon runners drinking ~500ml of heavy cream prerace to increase the use of fat as fuel and spare glycogen.
How did that work out?
(Their 'special drink' contains carbohydrates…and no heavy cream.)
It might be a better idea to do some runs (for example: some long runs) in a glycogen depleted state…such as after a fast with no carbohydrates.

Here is a photo of Barry Fudge with 'watch holding guy' Jama Aden. Barry looks really out of shape for a Brit UK Director of Endurance.
http://www.letsrun.com/news/2016/06/jama-aden-doping-raid-update-might-raid-impact-mo-farah-dibabas-nike/Why did Barry let himself get like this? Barry Fudge looks like he has been eating a lot of fudge.
I think Barry Fudge might have insulin resistance.
(In Flagstaff, we use 27:41 10K guy Aaron Braun as the 'watch holding guy' for NAU XC team 8 to 10 mile tempo runs at 5:22 average mile pace…that are also at an altitude of 7,100 ft.)
I used to eat a lot of fudge, now I have sore teeth.

Interesting.
Coolsaet did a 2:28 training marathon Oct. 6 with only 1 bottle on a railtrail in Hamilton.
Back in the late 70's runners would run a 20 miler the week before racing a marathon, then 3 days of fat/protein before shifting to high carb Thur, Fri, Sat

During my best season I was having a bacon and egg burger several times a week. I was also racing a 5k midweek and 800s (and the odd 1500) on Saturdays.

Here are some new scientific findings from a Brit news source that pudgy Barry Fudge will like.
The professor of anthropology at Yale, who might be a man, has determined that pudgy is the new sexy. This is very good news for pudgy Barry Fudge and other pudgy men.
This is a pudgy coincidence.
