UNBELIEVABLE. WETMORE has done it again!!! They graduated like most of last year's team and still figured out a way to take down Stanford and Oregon.

He can coach. Good job he doesn't recruit otherwise it would be boring.
-
Didn't look like McGorty had a good day. Had he joined Fisher and finished 3rd, they would have won (barely)
-
Hard to image there are 5 dudes other than Chez better than Mcgroarty....
The ponytail gets it don again.
Its a 3 race season - 1 down 2 to go

Unfortunately, rather meaningless without individual spreads.
Accordingly to LRC, UW women took it out hard but, in reality, they were just better placed across a 3 second spread than Colorado.
How close are Oregon's guys in the 20s to Stanford's in the teens to Colorado's in the top 10?
Should have followed on PAC-12 website they had live splits going constantly easy to follow.
Sean and Thomas went back a little in the last K which cost Stanford
Grant had a crazy last K, looks like he's way better than Sean which I'm surprised by, and Thomas is the real deal as a freshman; and quick shoutout the UCLA they did very well. -
If you are susceptible to motion sickness, do not watch the big sky live feed.

UCLA beat Oregon.
Can someone tell me why Oregon keeps getting every recruit in the country? Imagine if all of the 5th year seniors went to Colorado instead of Oregon.
Nike Kool-aid is all I can think of. -
Or imagine if UCLA was getting the big names....

Do you only follow the sport from September -- November? Look at how Oregon's guys do on the track and you have your answer. -
UW men have a tough road ahead... They were never in a factor today. UCLA held on from a very fast start and WSU slowly faded.
Watching the splits on the PAC12 site was great. CU men cruised from 1-2 and 2-3k and then threw down from 3-4. Great race. -
Pac 12 full results are here. You can see the km by km splits.

Mountain West men is over as well.

No kidding, that was horrible. -
UCLA beat Oregon by 36 still that's a lot, only 11 points behind Stanford too even if they did "hold on".

So you're saying the culture at Oregon breeds soft runners? Very fast in track when the fields are small and the surface is perfect. Is this what happens when you get all the big recruits? They get babied? -
NAU went 1 to 6. while letsrun.com get it wrong again.
-
I was def impressed by UCLA. Fast start, faded a bit and then came on strong at the end.
-
I was really impressed, I thought they'd drop back to 4th at least probably 5th, but they really were far behind the top 2 for this race, and they destroyed Oregon.
-
Re: Pac-12s, running in 85deg heat w/20% humidity, resulted in lots of bonking, both men & women . . . CO bonked the least.
-
Leingang had an awful day, if he runs anywhere near where he should Oregon is a bit better .
It looks like McGorty may just be what he is at this point for whatever reason, a few guys beat him in his last race as well -
You're right. I should have. Didn't think/know it was an option when I didn't see a feed listed on the LRC preview. Oh well.
Thanks for the update on the end.
And have to shout out Dressel. 27th at PreNats to 6th at Pac10s after the decision to lift the RS. Wetmore gets his guys ready to go. Would be nice to see Sareel have a great NCs to go out as well. He seems to be back.
