The first major conference meet of the weekend is in the books. Anna Rohrer and the NC State women win ACCs. That's Rohrer's first ACC title and NC State's first team title since 2006.

We are two for two on on predictions. If you missed our meet previews, today's preview is here:

I was thinking this morning, "Why in God's name are these meets run on a Friday morning? No wonder our sport isn't popular. Can you imagine any NCAA team sport holding a game before 12 noon?" -
Syracuse gets back on track and wins their fourth straight ACC title. Justyn Knight is the individual champ.
Worth noting: Syracuse's national title team scored 46 at ACCs in 2015. This year, they scored 29.

A solid effort by UVA, but once again Cuse walks away with the W.
Thankfully this did not require as big a comeback as the Elite 8 victory this past March, when Syracuse came back from the dead on Easter Sunday! -
Visokay finally starting to put it together this year.

Thanks, Rojo. I like the big win for Syracuse's men. I'm worried the women will not make NCAAs, now.
This is the lowest score SU has had at conference. Does that mean the rest of the ACC is weaker than usual? OTOH Aouani finally put together a great run, as did the rest of the orange, so perhaps coach Fox has turned them back into title contenders, instead of just podium contenders. Anybody know?
It's also telling that SU came from behind-check the splits. That their finishing score was the best of their splits hints that they may have had more to give if they had to.
I'm more excited about them now than I have been all season! GO ORANGE!!!! -

What happened with Brenna Peloquin at Mountain West Conference Cross Country Championships?
She came in 4th and was far behind the top 3.
Should she no longer be considered to one of the favorites for the NCAA Championship?
