I'm not saying either of those. There is no reason to insult Renato. Runners spend about a decade training for their event. If Cram wanted to get Billy's 400m speed, then he would have to spend a decade to do it just like Billy did. That is possible but it is just not practical because often careers are only about a decade long. So practically he will "never" be able to get Billy's speed. Not because of physiology, but because of schedule and time.
Sure, there is no proven reason why Bolt and Kipchoge couldn't excel at each other's craft, but like the previous paragraph, they would be starting from scratch at the age of ~30. I wouldn't expect much out of them until they were pushing 40 years old. Bolt has already retired at ~30 so I doubt he would have any motivation to start training for something he is at level 0 in.
