Thanks to the few i must note polite and up to the point answers. I run through a plan for marathon beginners made by Jeff Gaudette.
I follow his plans from the moment i started to run 4 years ago (now i am 44) and got me from zero running to getting ready for a marathon race. I will run the Authentic Athens marathon route next month. Its true that we dont have many rains in Athens but most of the time hot weather so believe me its a relief to train in cloudy day even with a rain after being having weeks of preparation in the summer months. So rest of the answers dont even bother to help with my question but stated the fact "u are soft we are tough". I dont know how soft i am but when a rain becomes a severe storm i am experienced and wise enough to see that 30 minutes or 6 more kms not worth the risk of an injury when u have to run in floοded street when u cant even see where are u stepping to. 4 years now in the running community i met people from all over the world helping each other and spreading their wisdom and experience posting in this forum was a surprise.
I wish all the very best and keep running
