Happened today in Chicago. Mixed felelings myself. An impressive feat but then I ask why..,
What's next?
Yoyo marathon?
Rubik's cube marathon?
Hooks hoop?

it's called joggling, moron
It's impressive, but more so on the juggling side. I bet if some elite runner could juggle really well, they would run in the 2:20s. Does anybody know this guy's prs without juggling.
Holy Shite! The CEO of USA Track and Field is 'stealing' millions from our athletes and this is what we're talking about???
As a runner and a person who can juggle, I find it quite impressive.

The London Marathon called. They want their circus act back.
Completely unimpressed, just some avg runner tryna get attention doing something absolutely pointless

Which was the absolutely pointless part -- running or juggling?

The Rubik's Cube + marathon combo has been done. Not sure about the others -- you may still have the pleasure of looking forward to those feats.
The juggling , the question was "Are you impressed with a 2:55 marathon while juggling?".
I can't juggle so I don't know if I would be impressed while juggling. Since I am not impressed at a 255 marathon in general, I doubt I would be impressed while I am juggling. I am jealous of jugglers though as I just ran a race in a costume and the newspaper put a picture of him in the paper instead of me. I did get my name mentioned though so that was nice.

2:30:XX about 15 years ago.
Did you guys see that article on the front page? The dude didn't drop a ball once. For me, that makes it all the more impressive.
I got passed by the Joggler at Chicago a few years ago. While it is a novelty act, it is nonetheless an impressive one. He does not take any fluids or gels. He keeps a solid pace while juggling. Probably a low 2:40 guy without juggling.
This is actually more impressive than 2:02:57

^ very much like this post
Setting a world-record is pointless, yeah, right.

He's also 44 years old. So yeah, I am impressed with a 2:55 joggler. In fact, his joggling record is 5 minutes faster.

I'd rank it just behind the Appalachian Trail FKT in terms of impressiveness.

Maybe now but as noted he's a 2:30 guy.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
