Nice result for Jordan Hasay after not doing well at the trials. I hope she is on the road to making a comeback.

did A. Brownlee really go 27:44 on the track? I seriously don't remember that. that's amazing if true. I always poopoo trigeeks running abilities but both Brownlee and Jorgensen are the real deal, no joke.

You mean like Alan Webb (more than decent runner, with a background in swimming)? He was a complete fail on that theory. Try again.
Yea, remember that time Alan Webb was at the height of his career and choose to switch to the tri? Oh no....that didn't happen...he ran a 4:06 mile and then retired....
Try 28:32 for Brownlee on the track.http://www.flotrack.org/video/707848-triathlon-olympic-gold-medalist-alistair-brownlee-hits-the-track-for-2832-10k-at-2013-payton-jordan-invite

Jordan looked the best I've seen since high school!!!!!
52:49 is pretty fast for that course, I don't know what the record is on that course, but Jordan ran much faster than they have in recent years. It's probably not too far off of the USR.
if by USR you mean the american 10mi record, it's probably 50:0x or 51low as a split from a half marathon.
52:49 would only be 69:20ish if you keep pace for another 3.1 miles. probably equal to 70mid
She has always been a strength runner versus a speed runner, it appears with the right preparation she could run in the mid 2:20s for the marathon. A 1:09-1:10 half would be a could indicator in the near future. Hopefully she chooses to run a fast course like London or Berlin.
Molly Huddle ran a 51:44 there last year...
Hey where's complete results???
Anyway, did Webb quit triathlon already? I thought he was going for the Olympics???

Based on this article, Jordan ran the second fastest time on that course.
http://www.runnersworld.com/races/molly-huddle-sets-course-record-at-us-10-mile-championshipLast years (and also 2014) had a different course due to road construction. The first 3 miles was different...
How long has it hosted the championships - it has attracted some bigger names the past few years it seems due to that but I don't know if that has been going on long. I'm also more impressed with Gwen.
The Twin Cities Marathon hosted the Mens USATF 10 Mile Championships from 2003-12 and 2015-16. The Womens championship was there in 2008, 2010-12 and 2015-16.

+1
It was even faster than Kara's old course record, just behind Molly's 51:44.
Well Neely Spence (53.03) and Alexi Pappas (53.10) also beat Goucher's time (53.16) so that doesn't necessarily translate to a fast marathon time which is really the only distance that has any relevance to "move up" to if she isn't competitive enough at the 5K/ 10K.
That picture of Chelanga and Huddle from 2015 is excellent. Look at the lower left corner. https://www.tcmevents.org/events/medtronic_twin_cities_marathon_weekend_-_october_7-9_2016/10_mile/results_photos__videos/
