Maybe if he came to the US someone could teach him how to hurdle - and how to run a 400H without switching from 13s straight to 15s (with necessary stuttering) on hurdle 9 or 10.

She is a Kenyan which is a clue that she's probably right. Likely the "ng" voiced consonant is sometimes spelled with or without the "n."
This also is a clue how to pronounce "Ngugi" and that the "N" is more about vocalizing the consonant afterwards than a consonant itself. Explains why that rap video about Ndiku sounded like "deeku" not "nnnnndiku"
Bad Wigins, it would have been better for you to ask a Kenyan or someone who has actually travelled to Kenya and lived with Kenyans for a while before you comment on this matter. Fact is there are over 42 tribes speaking 42 dialects. Kipsigis and Nandi are just two of those tribes. Langat and Lagat are actually the same name with same meaning but the variance in spelling and pronunciation is indication of whether one is a Kipsigis or a Nandi. Nandi tribe go by Lagat while Kipsigis by Langat. That is the traditional way of naming among those two tribes. American Bernard Lagat is either a Nandi or identifies as one and therefore his name is Lagat and not Langat and with pronunciation not changed.
This answers the big question I had as to why Bett performed dismally the whole diamond season, with dnf in some races. I see sabotage! By individuals and not the USA as a country or sports organization. The guy was likely bought to slow down in order for one of Usa runners to have a chance. The Russian who won silver in Beijing was to be taken care of in a different way-kick out all Russians. I don't know what happened to the Bahamian who won bronze. Bett and the Bahamian disappeared in the prelims leaving Clement who had finished fourth in Beijing and Boniface Tumuti 5th to battle it out. Michael Tinsley had been expected to have an impact as well but the favorite role stayed with Clement and he went on to win. And to back my claim that Bett was compromised, he came back after the Olympics and ran 48.02 and beat Clement. How much money was he paid not to race the Olympics? Of course this is pure speculation.
You're nearly right, but not quite. It's not pure speculation. It's pure bullshit.
