They still have the Silver Lake Dodge 20 miler that covers BM course to Wellesley/Newton?
I ran it one year when it counted as a BM qualifier. Morning after big snow storm, road packed with ice and snow. No one on the usually busy streets but us.

The Backcountry Bushwack in New Caanan, Ct. Great xc trail race. At one point you ran up a 10 foot high, 50 foot long pile of leaves as the town collected.

The general disappearance of the 25K in the US. Specifically the Governor's Cup in Columbia, SC was changed from a 25K to half marathon maybe a decade ago or more. I guess it draws more runners and is less expensive to put on some it is what it is.
I miss the 10k. Rarely around now. And everything that was before it became R&R. Love the hoopla but could trade it for the expense and logistical nightmare
