Is Iona top 5 material?
Is Iona top 5 material?
500 runners in the Men's Open Race
400 runners in the Women's Open Race.
Damn. Is this the largest XC meet in the USA?

Dude stfu Iona have an Irish guy called Jack who is 5x the athlete this 'Patrick' wannabe is!! 27.50 on a mountain? Bro that's slow, everyone knows altitude conversions aren't real...
Fancy Georgetown as well, I can see Bile rolling 24.15-20 easily, hes a STUD. Is Tommy Awad still at Penn?
Penn's Tommy Awad graduated last May.
I did not see Kevin Monogue in the results. Does anyone know if this meet/the past few weeks have been a different training cycle or recovery period for him? Penn should have a great run on late October and November of everyone is healthy.

They were 5th last year and have only lost one from their top 7 so its safe to assume that they at least have a shot of top 5 again.
How about Williams College getting 14th in this meet with an average of 24:51!
They beat a lot of D1 schools in that race, finishing just behind Harvard.
14. Williams
73 Ben Decker, Jr 24:37 4:58
77 Peter Hale, Sr 24:39 4:58
102 Liam Simpson, Jr 24:55 5:01
111 Griffin Colaizzi, Jr 24:59 5:02
117 Noah Williams, Sr 25:04 5:03
123 Austin Anderson, So 25:08 5:04
139 Mitch Morris, So 25:13 5:05
Total Time = 2:04:14 Total Places = 480
That looks a huge amount (maybe a minute or more) better than the times they ran at the Williams Invite, which is a tough, slow course.
Not bad. If they were a D1 team, they might be able to fight for 5th in a weak conference!

Why'd you apologize to Rojo? He's a Princeton alum!
And in the SEC xc champs last year, Williams' 24:51 avg, assuming a similar course difficulty, would have been around 45th place. So, if they ran that time there, they would have been probably around 8th or 9th place in one of the top conferences in the country, but of course they would be in far better shape by conference time in another month. In a weak conference, much better, I am sure. But they are division three and have no scholarships to give.http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2015/1030/2015%20SEC%20Cross%20Country%20Championship%20Results.pdf

This is not football; SEC is not a top conference in XC if that was a keep point in your narrative (I was not certain from the phrasing).
