I don't understand Tebow-derangement syndrome -- especially in the world of anthem "protests".
The guy won the Heisman, led Florida to a National Championship, led the Broncos to a Division Championship, and did not easily give up his dream of continuing as an NFL quarterback. He is generally considered a good guy.
Now he is giving it a go as a pro baseball player. He is two years younger than Michael Jordan was when he tried the same thing. From what I have read, unlike Jordan, he would have been an early round MLB draftee if he had not quit the sport to concentrate on football.
Do I think that he'll make the Majors? No. However, give the guy some credit for trying to make his dreams a reality.
Hey dude, I'm totally with you on that. I have nothing against Tebow. Seems like a good guy. And he is giving it his best shot. So, cheers to Tim Tebow.
My issue is with the Tebow fan-boys. From claiming that the only reason that he didn't make it big in the NFL was because of some conspiracy among all the NFL teams to thinking that he has been discriminated against because he is very openly Christian to calling individual moments proof of some act of God when a particular game or individual swing of the bat goes his way - the Tebow fan club is unbelievably clueless and does indeed deserve to be mocked.
