Bekele Beastmode!!!
Bekele Beastmode!!!
Some sort of timing error?!, gives both 31k (interpolated) and 32k @ 2:33 apiece!
28k 1:21:39
29k 1:24:44 (3:05) (gulp)
30k ~1:27:35 ? (2:50) (kipsang breaks away)
31k 1:30:22 (2:47!) (bekele rallies from 4th or 5th to 2nd)
kipsang running for wr and bekele scalp
bekele trying to fight back
Difference to WR at 5km splits:
5km -22s
10km -24s
15km -32s
20km -33s
25km -21s
30km -11s
I meant Chebet in 3rd but dropping. Kipping & Bekele for now
Bekele seems to be running on pure hate. He looks angry!
Some of those official bikers need to eff off.
32.1km bekele is back on the leader looking a little better. Not as slugish.
Bekele fighting tough. Can't really believe he intentionally dropped back here. Too much wasted energy and already a hard race to begin with.
That Biker must be Jos Hermans! Why he is blocking my boy Evans Chebet from trying to join the leading duo? His athlete should be disqualified! I predicted and still predict Chebet will outkick that Bekele at the end. Wait and see!
kipsang looking back!
Remember Bekele was getting dropped and digging deep to get back on again over and over at about this stage in London. Either he's running more sensible than kipsang on this suicide pace or he's hurting, I personally think he's being smart
Well boys, we got ourselves a race! Maybe only for the next 5 minutes or so, but this is good for now!
the battle is on
32.85 kipsang chose to run away from bekele to the side
bekele uses that time to really push through to 1st 1-2 metre lead now.
maybe kipsang though bekele was drafting him
Bloody commercials at this crucial time
kipsang will win
Corrected now to 31,32,33 all at 2:55 (so still just on WR)

+1, Never seen officials weave in and out of the actual racing line.
