I heard there's a method in which a male athlete builds up to 60miles/week, and then does a tempo session and 4 x 400m in 75secs. w/ 400m jog session. Those 400m recoveries becoming 200m, then, 100m, then boom.

This is the video that says such. I've heard that there's minimum speed requirements as well. Specifically, a 13sec 100m, 29sec 200m, 63sec. 400m, and a 2:19 800m. Source here

What camp do y'all say you'd fall under, the "build up to 60mi/wk and do >75sec quarters camp", or the "yeah, built up to that mileage, but also work on those under-distances since most average trainees don't have those speeds without some work". Thanks for reading.
