If you take a step back, you have to wonder if he is one of those distorted self-fulfilling prophecies in which he was never as bad as he likes to portray. Like a college kid who smokes a joint once in a while that claims addiction checks himself into a renowned rehabilitation center for hardcore drug addicts. Could just be that he's codependent and has a sheltered but pushy wife.
He sounds like your classic Born Again Christian.
One of my best friends in HS/College was a great guy, but then he got in to meth, etc., and hit rock bottom. He reinvented himself as a Cat 1 Cyclist and BAC and he sounds a lot like Willis, almost like he has a mental disorder.
I'm currently chugging beers and signing up for a year subscription on Brazzers in Nick Willis' honor. What an inspirational human being!

Or, he has an addictive personality.
It would be more uncommon for a man addicted to something as mundane as pornography to NOT have problems with alcohol and other substances also.
