This must be a joke, surely!
He is Paralympic champion, guaranteed! What else does he need 'guaranteed'?!
How about making a big boy Olympic team?
"Big boy"? That's pretty revolting. Kid is disabled not lazy or competing in the junior games.

My son's JV football team scored 27 points in their last football game. This is more than the Broncos scored in the last Super Bowl. The Broncos should return their trophy.

Except they are junior games for a guy like him. He won worlds last year as a high school senior, and now he's even better so he won this week by a mile. Congrats to him...now what? Is he just going to beat up on his fellow Paralympians for 10 years?
Come on. This guy's a competitor. He's talented. He's the same caliber as Maton and Fisher right now. You know those guys want an Olympic berth someday, I'm sure it must be a dream for Mikey too.
Winning the Paralympics is well and good and he should enjoy the moment for the next month or two. After that, for a guy this fast, he should get back to racing some stiffer competition like he did this summer with NYAC.

And what Olympic team was Centro on at age 19?
He wasn't on one. And if you had asked me about his odds back then, I'd have said "nothing is guaranteed" for him making the big boy Olympics too.

Regarding my friend, yes he once could drive a car. And yes he has a degenerative vision capacity. He's expected to be totally blind one day....
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
