Has anyone held the 5k, 10k, and marathon records at the same time?
I'm sure someone has 'called it' before you. This sh!t is so stupid.

Your prophecy has legitimately brought a tear to my eye 😢
I too expect great things.

Ventolin's single correct prediction was Farah's first 3:28. Even a nasty, vicious, blind little pig finds an acorn now and then.

That was such a fluke. He says every guy can actually run stupid fast times, then one of them did it out of like hundreds of his predictions and he thinks he is a genius
It's a good thing Bekele was left out the Ethiopian team for Rio.
In this race, there's no way Bekele would've been out of the medals... so Ruppy would have been 4th!
I still think Bekele still have a few good races in him, at least a 2:04!
very small chance of a win from bekele - I think he'll run 2:06 a few times, get bored and call it quits.
he's just another east african now.

He predicted 27:20 or so for Mo Farah's first 10K at Pre and was over 30 seconds out. Remember him raving about one runners projected track times on a XC course which was short and who can forget the argument over the 1500m start line.
I brake
He brokes
It broked
We brokered
You breaked
They braked
Or something like that, anyway
he is pretty off shell.

Bekele is years past his prime. Quite a few years. I'm not sure why there are holdouts on Letsrun who don't understand this.
Gebrselassi was well past his prime when he broke the marathon world record.
Geb broke the marathon record 7 years after his last Olympic Gold at age 34.
Bekele is 34 and is 7 years past his last World Championship Gold.
Geb spent a couple of years at a 2:06 marathon, where Bekele is now.
There are a few folks in this thread who might do well to go back and reach the London 2016 marathon, and then read over the NYT articles about how much training Bekele did for that race.

Especially where KB gets dropped after the half at WR pace but manages to work his way back-- albeit briefly-- to the leaders before fading.
Anbessa!!
Not probable, but not impossible I suppose.
Would love to see Bekele smoke one.
I heard from my guy in Ethiopia they saw him do a Canova special block last Saturday: morning half marathon 63min, afternoon 2x10km 28:15/27:45 (10min interval).
At altitude.
Expect great things in Berlin!

Didn't Bekele retire? Hasn't been relevant in a long time.
Heard some where that he is being coached by jama aden.
Saw him jogging 4:00 miles for hours on end, expect great things.

If you guys are gonna make fun of Ventolin, you should at least make sure you know what you are talking about. You just sound dumb and unintelligent. Ventolin does not make predictions. He calculates fitness. There is a significant difference. If you don't understand this, then you may be dumber than him.

How is debuting in 2:05 and getting 3rd place (?) in a major marathon not relevant? If that isn't relevant, there should only be a handful of marathoners.
