Kipchoge is the man:

Beaten Farah, has beaten El Goruouz and Bekele at the world champs.
kipchoge has class!
Farah's expressions when a losing position are really annoying.

No doubt kipchoge is the better runner.
Mo is also a cheat
Great race, and an outstanding one by Kipchoge. Pretty remarkable he beat the Olympic 5000m and 10000m champion at 2 miles and went on to be Olympic champion himself at the marathon distance. Kipchoge has fewer Olympic gold medals, but he is certainly a superior runner and one of the best alongside Bekele, Geb, El G, etc.
Kipchoge is pretty good, no doubts there. I've always said he was one of the more competitive runners. Certainly gives Farah and all them a good run for their money.
What a race!
Indeed Kipchoge belongs to the greatests
his longevity is only surpassed by HG.
Beautiful video, race and venue if I do say so!
what a race!

lol Kipchoge is the typical drugged-up Euro-coached Kenyan.
Also, a massive age cheat back in the day.
Interesting that Kipchoge did not make the 2012 Kenyan team in the 5 or 10. He tried in both, placing 7th in both I think.
This 2 miles was a great run for him, but I bet he would have preferred to beat Mo in the London Olympics later that year.
Kipchoge has quite the resume:
PERFORMANCE WIND PLACE DATE
1500 Metres 3:33.20 Hengelo (Blankers-Koen Stadion) 31 MAY 2004
One Mile 3:50.40 London (Crystal Palace) 30 JUL 2004
3000 Metres 7:27.66 Doha (Hamad Bin Suhaim) 06 MAY 2011
Two Miles 8:07.68 Eugene, OR 04 JUN 2005
5000 Metres 12:46.53 Roma (Stadio Olimpico) 02 JUL 2004
10,000 Metres 26:49.02 Hengelo (Blankers-Koen Stadion) 26 MAY 2007
10 Kilometres 28:11 Utrecht 27 SEP 2009
15 Kilometres 43:02 Barcelona 17 FEB 2013
20 Kilometres 57:12 Barcelona 17 FEB 2013
Half Marathon 59:25 Lille 01 SEP 2012

30 Kilometres 1:27:13 London 24 APR 2016

He ran 5000m in sub 13:00 in 9 out of 10 years with his "slow" year being 13:02.

But a dumb thread since we are talking about an indoor race from 4 1/2 years ago in a year that Farah won 2 Olympic Golds and Kipchoge didn't make it to the Olympics.
I hate Mo as much as every lover of the sport. But resorting to physical violence is not the way.

So, you idiot moron, how old is the Marathon Olympic Champion in 2016? 72?
F**k off.
Mo is the goat tho

Thanks for weighing in there Brad. Super insightful as always.
"Kipchoge is pretty good, no doubts there." Wonderful to have your expert opinion expressed on this one. Many of us rely on you to give us insider knowledge we otherwise would never be able to access.
"I've always said he was one of the more competitive runners." Again, many of us have been fans for 20, 30 or 40 years, but without this kind of sage wisdom, we could not follow the sport and would be lost.
"Certainly gives Farah and all them a good run for their money." The best, truly a great amount of value added to our experience. "...good run for their money." Where do you come up with this stuff? You should have your own website, you are truly that good.

Yeah, just another drugged up 45 yr old
Well, as I always say, Farah is a decent runner who can win a few races. So if Kipchoge beats Farah, obviously he has to be pretty good too.

But just a few, right? OK, he has won 9 global outdoor championships, but that\'s just a few - isn\'t it?
One of the few exceptional performers from the EPO era whose performances have stood up over time with somewhat better testing.
