An ex-colleague of mine has gone missing (she's married with 4 kids) and the police have questioned me twice in the last 48hrs. I'm a bit surprised by this as we never spoke outside work etc. so wouldn't have thought try would ever have been interested in me.
Anyone else ever been "in the frame"? Bit unnerving...
After reading all of your posts we know a few things.
(1) Your are a liar. You say you know nothing about her then you say all this stuff you do know about her (social media friends, lunch out, received something on line and getting off social media and husband gone). The latter you claim maybe the police told you. Police hold back that information, she didn't tell you. You lie to your wife.
(2) You act guilty. All the why am I being questioned, talking about needing an alibi. You don't have the attitude of anything I can do to help. Your pretense of why are you asking me questions, I don't know anything makes you a person of interest.
(3) 10/10 good troll.
Suspect number 1! this site won't let me back to page 1 but you said there they didn't interrogate you as such, but did ask you questions.
ASKING QUESTIONS IS EXACTLY WHAT INTERROGATION IS.
I know you are a troll, but your standard troll topic is still a good public service where it can be explained to younger idiots that the cops always use that angle where they aren't really suspicious of you, just want your help, yada yada. It's bullshit! They want you behind bars, in jail. That's how they get paid. They don't care if you're really guilty or not. Welcome to the real world.

I think you are slightly exaggerating. I cannot be arrested without evidence/probable cause. I feel pretty confident that they are not out to get me - I would like to know why they are interested in me though. Our relationship is/was entirely professional.
The last communication I had with the police was about Facebook: I have never had an account so feel pretty relaxed about that.
To the other poster - of course I am worried for her and her family. I think it has been 4 days now.
Excellent troll! Well written, earnest presentation and you stay with it. Some start a troll but don't follow-up with responses.
HOWEVER, in retrospect I have to down grade you from 10/10 to 9/10. You get a point deduction for the suggestion that there is something about your wife that you might write about latter. You didn't have to do that to generate interest. It comes out forced and phony. Otherwise, great troll.
Your have a future here.

Anyone the cops question, they see as a victim, someone for them to take advantage of, lock up, beat up, harass, whatever they feel like doing because that's how they 1) get paid, 2) get accolades from their peers, 3) get their rocks off and so on.

I only slightly embellished for some drama. I have never cheated on my wife, she does get very jealous easily. I have explained the situation, albeit making it a little more routine than what is actually happening.
I am back in work tomorrow, it will be interesting to see whether my questioning is public knowledge.
I haven't completely cooperated - I refused to give saliva and finger prints. I could not see why this would relevant as there is no crime scene and it wouldn't have excluded me. Plus I was getting a little tired of waiting around.

Maybe it seems like my hiding something is what?

Very earnest believable defense of thread. Wow, I'm adding back .7 to give you 9.7. That is very good. Generally I'm more stingy with my ratings.
(I know you can't say anything but you should be proud)
They're digging up my back yard, and I'm really concerned my wife will notice what they're doing.
This is just routine stuff, but I don't know why they're singling me out.
You do realize that the cops have you under 24 hr surveillance. Look for an unmarked sedan that tails you, if you have a landline it's tapped, your home may be bugged. Watch your back. Hire an attorney, now.

8/10. Bravo, you got a multi-page thread going.
First this thing is very serious.
Second this is now police business.
Third the cheater is not the pig.
Fourth it is uncool to call law enforcement pig, better to thank them for providing the blanket of safety they provide us all.
Well ... almost all of us
Mmmmm..pigs in a blanket.

Not me. I don't even have a backyard.

Jesus christ. The Supreme court has rules that it is not the cops responsibility to:
1) Know the law
2) Tell the truth
3) Ensure your safety
The ONLY reason they are questioning you is because they think there is a possibility you may be a criminal. Get a g*dd**m lawyer and stop f*****ng posting.
9.8/10
Pigs are the scum of the earth. Cowardly mfs that do not care who they "get" as long as it looks good on THEIR record. Do what other posters have told you and get an attorney. People mistakenly think if they've done nothing wrong that it will all work out..like on tv. That's pure bullshit...people's lives are ruined EVERY day by rogue, stupid pigs.
You DO NOT have to talk to them....use that right.

I seriously doubt they are following me or listening to my phones.
I have spoken to someone about free legal advice and was told that I can have a representative whenever the police request to speak with me - I just need to make this clear to the attending officer.

I will take this more seriously and stop posting if their interest in me extends to 'reasonable suspicion' (which it won't), at the moment I am just helping them however I can.
