I raced against Frank Shorter in 1981. He just showed up unannounced at a local suburban 10K that had maybe 75 entrants. True, I didn't beat him. In fact, nobody did, he won. But it looked to me like he was racing without a number, Without a shirt, in fact. (He had a great tan.)

I'd bet he hadn't even signed up to run. And anyway, no number = FORFEIT = no place. So I beat him. And if you think I'm making this up, do a search on LRC, you'll find a post by someone else who also ran in that race.

I beat Nick Willis at 1500m about two years ago. Sure he was running it as a warm down with some little kids but it counts all the same.

My dad beat a drunk a$$ Henry Rono at a road race once and I've never lost to my dad. Therefore, I'm better than Henry Rono.

Good! Now find the greatest achievement he did and say me > x. Sadly Rono never did much in the way of the Olympics due to boycotts. He ran the fastest time of the year in 5km though, so...figure it out!
