This is absolutely adorable. Someone needs to tell him that he will never win an important race against Bolt no matter how many PEDs he takes.

Gatlin has about as much rivalry with Bolt as Asafa Powell does.

I guess you don't count the 2005 World Championships as a race that counts? Gatlin won the 200m and Bolt finished last in the final. Learn to check out the facts before you post on here. You are an ignorant fool.
Well Gatlin has beaten him, and he was close at each of the last 2 WC's and should have won last year. Gatlin also had the fastest times in the past 3 years. Gatlin just under performs when it matters and Bolt out performs when it matters.
This is probably because Gatlin has to run for money every week, while Bolt doesn't. If Gatlin really needs the money he should probably keep running, he can probably keep breaking 10 until Tokyo.
Yes, Gatlin won a major race in a super slow time (a time beaten no fewer than 25 times this year) 11 years ago when Bolt was 18 years old and suffered a season-ending injury. This means that they have a rivalry now.

Bolt was fine in 2005, he was just upset he was in lane 1 and getting beaten badly. Emotions of a teenager.
For three years Gatlin has been the world's fastest sprinter, stole the limelight from Bolt and almost stole his WC title. For once it wasn't a one-man show. He gave Bolt serious trouble.

Is this not the result you are talking about. And if you have to go back 11 years then the OP kinda has a point.

Also the 19 year old Bolt pulled a hammy in this race. Not really sure why you'd consider it a particularly significant matchup for any sort of "rivalry."
If Bolt had a rivalry with anyone, it would have been Tyson Gay. Gatlin ran tons of threatening times, but lost to Bolt in the head to head 90% of the time. Tyson Gay was competitive against Bolt prior to the crazy WR seasons.

This. Gatlin and Powell had a nice back and forth in 2006-2007 I believe where they were both breaking the WR. Also, Bolt is riding off into the sunset. He could care less, took care of business. GOAT.
Bolt only has to run when it is a WC or Olympics and can peak accordingly. Gatlin, when not injured, has performed at a high level the past two years at numerous competitions. Bolt gets the publicity Gatlin gets the competition.
So Rio doesn't count because Gay couldn't make the US team except in the relays? That seems like a shortcoming of Trackbot, when someone who is being compared can't even make it through to run the race.
