ouch.
ouch.
Wow. I can't believe they got him. I figured Jager would have more left than he did. No response that last lap.
maybe the weirdest race I've seen
Paul Chelimo! Top American...2nd place...nice run!
Still give him credit for going for it.
Gebriwet gets the purse!!!! From 3rd to 1st in the overall standings
Oooph. That was ugly. Really disappointing. Shows how hard it is to front run. Thought there was no chance they'd catch him.
I had him right at 61.
Jager faded to third, Gebrhiwet won, Chelimo is second 13:14 winning time, very disappointing. Jager died. Edris and Kejelcha were way back, so Gebrhiwet wins the diamond race! that was interesting
Why do these guys even come to the race? Like Hill, wtf dude at least go up with Jager and help the poundtown express along.
All those random Africans got blown out the last lap, why not push the pace? Dumb.
Idk why Jager couldn't hold on but it does suck pretty hard to have to push from the front alone like that.
This race sucked
Pretty good race by Jager. It was fun watching someone actually try to run fast unlike the rest of the field.
Also in typical OTC fashion, Mead was a DNF
Gerbrihewit (sp) just did a 59.x for his last lap and tht was enough to catch Jager. So Evan could have won it easily if he could have done the 60. Darn.

I wouldn't say he died. He ran hard quite a ways out instead of saving it for the last lap.

USA with 2 on the podium, not bad considering that field.
very weird indeed. Lagat beats Kejelcha! what happened since Lausanne???
I am sorry, but Kenyan distance running is a mess right now.
11th-18th place, basically? And Americans 2-3?
More like what Americans used to look like. They are either suffering from the effects of the doping raids and are having a lack of confidence even if they are not doping, and/or suffering from a long season. I think it's both.
Walsh 22.20, leading right now with a new PB and NR
Why even have pacers anymore? Not cost effective for meet directors, I imagine.
