I guess that's one way to look at it. However, I don't believe that endorsements will be affected one way or the other based on an Orioles baseball game.
Also, let's say that he did throw out the first pitch at the game, on-time, as planned. Would we have known?
Unreal: Centro shows up late and doesn't get to throw first pitch at Orioles game, then admits he's a Yankees fan

I can hear crickets chirping and some tumbleweed just blew past, crazy.

He got stuck in traffic, stop it with this garbage.
DC and Baltimore are unbelievable for traffic and ROJO got us to post again. -

He left late. His error. His mistake. He own this. -

Maybe we would have. If he threw like Carl Lewis, it would be national news.

Now that I'm remembering that, I'm starting to think there is a 2% chance he was late on purpose. If he "pulled a Carl", it would definitely hurt his street cred and ability to get the ladies. -

haha that would be hilarious. I think there is a chance you are correct. Someone that has been groomed for track his entire life probably spent zero time with ball skill sports (except maybe soccer). -
the midget guido punkassbitch doping cheater roid chacne centro was late because he had stop at an ATM to pay off his dealer

"Like Father Like Son" in old English letters. Thug life.

Rojo,
I know you're pissed that I'm Golden because you and your ugly brother have it out for Alberto, but let it go. Revel in my glory, you two-bit hack.
Now go wipe that Centro sauce off your chin, son. You look ridiculous. -
Trying to understand how anyone from Texas would leave the state and root for some crazy east coast team over their hometown home state team.
And I absolutely hate the Rangers (Astros fan here). But I don't see how a metroplex person can change allegiances like that. -

Fool, what would Texans do to an out-of-stater who moved to Texas and kept rooting for a hated out-of-state team. Assimilate or get the carp beat out of you--the Texas way. -
Centrowitz admitted to growing up in a Yankees household, but said he’s followed the Orioles as his hometown team.
What's wrong with that even if you like the orioles? -
I live in DC and anyone who has lived here for any amount of time knows that you just have to plan to leave early in order to allow for traffic. There's no way Centro didn't know there would be traffic. He is so unlikable and irritating.

Hi crybaby! Do you whine this much in real life or only online? -

The Orioles are cheap. Don't then send a chauffeured limo out to pick up every one of the pitch-throwers? That would guarantee that they arrived on time . . . unless they were O.J.
A helicopter or train would be the only way to make sure he got there from DC on time.
Worse than Centro showing up late is Rojo abandoning his hometown team, the first place Texas Rangers.
Centro is showing loyalty to the Yankees. Rojo abandoned his team on the first opportunity he got.
They are actually the Washington Senators, thank you. -
Centro=media clickbait. The media have found his name to whore out and take subtle shots at for their personal profit. Pretty cool they put that vid of him up on the MLB site though. On another note, he should take life more seriously. Perhaps he thinks he's invincible now, which can be very dangerous. PS its time that people start holding the media accountable, people like Centro should get paid to have their name used and published in papers. Instead the media can get clubs in using peoples names (and perhaps tarnishing them) and not have to pay a price, which is incredibly pathetic.

I totally agree. I read this post and thought the headline was inaccurate and designed to grab attention with stretched facts. You are indicting Centro's character for suggesting he lied about being stuck in traffic (you don't know) and saying he was jerk by saying he was a Yankees fan. In fact, he was being rather diplomatic about his interest in the O's and their ballpark. -
I heard a rumor that he went home after the game DEVASTATED!
-
He probably can't throw a baseball... it's not uncommon among runners. Only thing most can throw is a race, like his opponents did.
-
Please name one single runner who is unable to throw a baseball. Just one will do.
You continue to prove that you are the biggest idiot in this site. That takes real idiocy, no amateurs need apply. Bravo, sir!
