So anyone who raced against Prefontaine has a Prefontaine number of 1. Anyone who raced against them has a Prefontaine number of 2.
Since I'm making this up, I get to make the rules.
#1: links have to occur in track races. Running with 40,000 people in the Chicago marathon doesn't count.
#2: since it's hard for women to have a low Prefontaine number, they can alternatively refer to their Lynn Jennings number.
I'm still trying to figure out what my Prefontaine number is. My best link may be through Bob Kennedy, but I don't know how to get back to Prefontaine. Any help?
