2'09+ is rubbish pacing when 2'08 is absolute slowest it shouda been, probably 2'06 more like as that is still only 3'56.25 pace
not muir's fault, but the organisers that they asked for such rubbish pace
she is capable on a temperate day with steady 63s pace to bell currently

as for "ideal times", the Big-Man in '10 with his brace of 1'41-flats came somewhat close off opening 24.5s in both, albeit he got no effective drafting & pace to 400 & 600 varied too much
as for any others, none really come to mind
it is always a question of trying to estimate for best possible conditions/pacing/drafting/etc
if you find me 1 WR holder in history who thinks their clocking was the fastest they couda gone if examing the circumstances, then you are dreaming...
