Did you just equate a hat with an ice pack in it to blood doping?
This is Lets Run, are you really surprised?!

You fools believe it was ice. It wasn't. It was something else in the black bag inside the hat. Black Ice? Not likely.
Some of you will bitch about anything. Get over it

Why are you so hurt? Can't get over your hero being caught doing something that surprised and shocked the expert commentators including Olympic marathon medalists?

I'm holding out that we're just getting trolled, although Rojo seems to have issues with it as well. He seems to be ok with towels and sponges though. I'm not sure the difference.

You are wrong about that.
God help us when Paula becomes the arbiter of that which is shocking.
So Hurt, are you wrote:

Paula was not the first commentary to express shock at the hat swap. Please do try to keep up.

So, after all these posts, no ones actually pulled a credible provable suggestion out of the hat about what was in the hat and still no credible link as to whether there were cooler boxes involved and the boxes only for Rupp's hats and no one else's. Anyone?
A question -I'm a track fan but not a marathon expert-since this marathon was limited to not more than 3 entrants per country- did the odds favor a better USA finish because a the number of East African entrants were limited? Which might have included some hungry runners looking for a "payday".
Salazar will never give a real answer what was in the hats. He told Ken Goe it was ice. But it something other than ice that provide ice-like effects. Was it a gel? Was it dry ice? Was it a compression activated cooling bag? None of those three are water-based. There are chemically-based.
Salazar does not reveal his secrets. He decided it was something that had to done to help Rupp earn a high finish. Indeed that happened. People have to figure out what the substance was and then the benefit Salazar determined.

Why?
Rupp tossed the hats (along with everything inside of them) every few miles. If there was anything worth talking about in any of them, we'd know by now.
What are you SO afraid of?
I'm of the firm belief that our fine Aussie boys, who finished 31, 47, 81, would have been up there with Rupp vying for medals if they had received the favourable hat treatment that he did. Is it too late to lodge a protest?

But we don't and it's causing many people sleepless nights worrying about it, which when you think about it, is totally understandable.

And you believe those typical diversionary tactics arranged by AlSal via his pal Ken Goe. I think you missed the "credible provable" bit.

It doesn't matter. Every team is using ice chests for drinks and whatever else, and his hats were provided at aid stations and not elsewhere. Sorry to burst your conspiracy theory- no rules were broken.
You are deathly afraid of learning what Salazar decided HAD to be done during the marathon that NO ONE else was allowed to do.
Why are you so afraid?
