So proud of Caster. The haters could not stop her. In the face of bigots she ran a gutsy race for gold. Sorry she's not pretty enough for your liking.

Gutsy? I do not think that word means what you think it means.
does anyone want to start a go fund me for bishop. we can raise money to make a rose gold medal to give her to celebrate her accomplishments .

We need to speak out on this craziness. What a joke.
We do. Part of problem is twitter/social media has created this. The silent majority, that doesn't think it is fair, hasn't said anything for fear of getting mobbed by a small group on twitter. People need to speak up now even if it gets them unfairly name called.

His wife is proud of him too! And she thinks he's handsome!
And the dopey Russians weren't invited.

I'd love to, but I'm just an oldie living on the other side of the planet; one who see grave injustice when it has been served. I have no links to Melissa Bishop or Canadian athletics. Is there anyone out there who can ensure any funds get to her? Relatives, coaches, training partners? I'd be very happy to contribute to the real gold medal winner.
On another note, Paula Radcliffe (on the BBC) just put up a very spirited defense in support of the XX women out there, against the PC police. Whatever else people may think about her, Paula was coherent, intelligent, passionate and very well informed on this matter. Common sense (like Paula's) in the face of stupidity regarding the intersex CAS ruling that has the potential to destroy women's sport. Amazing and suprising to see on the BBC.
Also on the BBC, the REAL 3rd place finisher (Lynsey Sharp of Britain) gave a very emotional interview post-race in which she slammed the ruling, and said that Melissa Bishop and the Polish (REAL 2nd place finisher) all agree with her and the great travesty that has unfolded tonight. My sympathies go to all three of the REAL medal winners tonight.
It's great to see Melissa Bishop has so many fans. Too bad her fans don't have as much class as she does. She would be appalled by this thread.

Yes, surprising. I'm glad she finally spoke up about something worthwhile.

Good for Lynsey Sharp!
Yes, let's all keep speaking up about this, and get the bogus ruling changed.

Who are you talking about? I didn't see any woman named Caster.
Lynse Sharp ought to be ashamed of herself for such bigotry. Of course the pretty white girl is mad she didn't get a medal. She really should apologize and not judge before walking a mile in someone else's shoes.
Melissa is a class act. No whining like the bitch from England and complaining like you Americans.

Terrible attacks on real women.
I am proud of Lynsey Sharp for speaking up for all real women, who deserve to have their events remain for real women, and not transgendered Y chronosome men.
I have nothing against transgendered men as long as they stay out of women's events. Their cause would be better served by having their own events or else running in the open division, but not by being bullies and running in women's events.

The typically aggressive bad attitude that comes from the transgendered men.
But here's the real litmus test: Bishop, Jozwik, or Sharp?
I do, and many others.

Anyone in (or with links to) the Canadian running community who can set a GoFundMe up, in order to ensure it actually gets to her?
Totally agree,
I sat down on my father's couch (he has dire cancer) for a Sunday afternoons olympic athletics and he got it bang on. He abruptly stated, "these men that want to be women should establish their own class at the paralympics if they want to complete!" I wonder what the PC black lives matter-type crowd would say to my father's face.
