Absolutely brilliant running. When it went out slow, clearly his strategy was to grab hold of the rail and never give it up. Perfection.

He looked like he was in shock at the finish. Really fun to watch.

Wow, Centro ran a clever race; Kiprop ran an arrogant, idiotic one.

The time was slow, for sure. But watching this race was a perfect example of why time just doesn't really matter. That was amazing racing. Absolutely awesome!

That was the stuff Legends are made of. Going against 2 former champs. Throws down hard and doesn't let them by during the last lap. This is a great day. Now we get to watch Semenya just barely win to not make it look bad.

Wow, great run by Centro. And once again, awful coverage by NBC. They chose to show a replay DURING THE RACE and missed a few hundred meters of the race ....... NBC sucks so BAD!

Matthew just grabbed the rail. Why the hell was Kiprop in the back of the race I could have led through 1200m?

Like that he was allowed to elbow through to maintain space even though Soulemian was in front of him--was worried we'd see another DQ.

Only disappointment for me was that I was hoping for Andrews in there, thinking maybe he'd be in lane 5 storming down the straight.

Kiprop's sense of tactics is so bizarre.
