No one is a bigot, she has INTERNAL TESTICLES.... other women DON"T this gives her a distinct advantage over the field without internal ballz!

This was not an isolated comment. Many people here like to use male pronouns in a mean spirited way to refer to her and make jokes, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. I'm shocked at the lack of compassion.
You're being a stupid jerk for trying to have men run in women's events, and you have no room to be judgemental about others.

We do NOT know that is what happened with Caster. It is a possible scenario, but it is also possible she had normal external female genitalia at birth.
What you mean to say is that YOU do not know.

Brazil was created by Portugal which is situated on the Iberian peninsula and therefore 'Hispanic'. Some refer to Brazil as third World and some say "less developed" I consider it third World because of the poverty and wealth disparity...Do a little research dude...
From your OWN words, that means Brazil is not Hispanic. That means Brazil is Portuguese or Iberian. You are showing again that you don't know what you are talking about. Being 3rd world has nothing tk do with poverty or wealth disparity. Being 3rd world (or 1st or 2nd) has to do with your alliances during the Cold War. The word you are looking for is "developing" or "less developed". I'm not the one who needs to do a little research. You are the one who needs to do a LOT of research.
It's unfortunate that any thread discussing intersex gets such sophomoric posters. (Admittedly this thread has no chance of escaping the fate, as it was opened by someone declaring ignorance and with an attitude of refusing to listen to any discussion of science.)
It is also sad, but not surprising, that the sophomoric contributions are coupled with the nasty use of male pronouns for Semenya.
The intersex debate can be handled at an adult level, but this board seems to attract too many noisy and immature posters.

Yes, these type of comments sure are isolated. Regardless, it's not her fault she's allowed to compete, so leave the insensitive personal attacks out of it.

According to Wickapedia, countries on the Iberian peninsula are "Hispanic", including Portugal....you must be Brazilian...I guess the schools there aren't too good...
Why did you not acknowledge the rest of my post? Admit where you were wrong. Instead of insulting me, try actually knowing what you are talking about. Even if you consider Portugal to be Hispanic, that does NOT mean that Brazil is Hispanic. What grade are you in?
All I said was that she has a vagina. I posted the link as proof she has a vagina. How is saying a woman has a vagina cruel or mean? I love vaginas and the useless piece of skin attached to them.

They ARE isolated comments. You do you realize that there are multiple individuals who write the posts on these boards, don't you? The men of Letsrun don't put each chauvinistic comment through a committee of allowed posts and vote them through unanimously. And once again, may I remind you that it's a scientific question about chromosomes, not a question about feelings on the matter. Start your own, "leave Britney alone" thread if you want, otherwise, quit your crusading. You're worse than the fifteen-year-olds that post the objectionable stuff to get a rise out of people.
Yes, there have been articles that stated Caster has XY chromosome. For me, that is the crux of this matter. Caster has advantages in heightened level of testosterone, a physical body structure (particularly in hips and legs) more reminiscent of males (and favorable for running) and the Y chromosome. Caster doesn't have internal female sex organs either.
This is a rarity in terms of the general population, but there is NO DOUBT that her body has a decided advantage over normal women.
If Caster had no Y-chromosome, all this debate would have ended years ago. She would be just another physiological outlier like Bolt, but instead the fact of the matter is she is not an XX woman.

Wiakapedia?
LOL.
This is what Wikipedia says: The term Hispanic (Spanish: hispano or hispánico, Galician: hispánico, Asturian: hispanu, Basque: hispaniar, Catalan: hispà ,[1][2] hispà no[3]) broadly refers to the people, nations, and cultures that have a historical link to Spain. It commonly applies to countries once colonized by Spain in the Americas, particularly the countries of Latin America. It could be argued that the term should apply to all Spanish-speaking cultures or countries, as the historical roots of the word specifically pertain to the Iberian region. It is difficult to label a nation or culture with one term, such as Hispanic, as the ethnicities, customs, traditions, and art forms (music, literature, dress, architecture, cuisine, and others) vary greatly by country and region. The Spanish language and Spanish culture are the main traditions.[4][5]
Spain and Spanish, not Portugal and Portuguese.
So does she?

The definition of the male sex is XY (or XYY in rare cases). Differentialy responses to Androgen can occur on a such a chromosomal make up, but that is simply the definition of male. Is Caster Semenya XX (female) or XY?
Simple as that.
CS is XY. Case closed.

Funny that people haven't mentioned Wambui and Niyonsaba. They clearly were born with a similar condition to that of Semenya. Look at facial features and build and draw your conclusions.
Niyonsaba is very short, has narrow shoulders, broad hips, stocky legs, skinny arms and upper body, and a sloping jawline. Obviously not a dude.
Not another thread!!
All very Alan Partridge ladyboy-esque this. Amazing need by some guys on here to get excited over and over again about what bits some curious creature may or may not have... Why such fascination?
