The alleged robbery allegedly took place in the alleged taxi, or maybe allegedly just outside of the alleged taxi, when the alleged robbers allegedly told the swimmers to lie on the ground and allegedly cocked a gun to Lochte's head (or maybe allegedly pointed it at him). Or maybe it allegedly was an ambush after the alleged taxi allegedly stopped at an alleged gas station to use an alleged restroom.

And that's why my theory on them using American credit cards to pay for illegal prostitutes make a lot more sense. $100 each would not nearly be enough for them to get prostitutes, alcohol, food, and travel.

Speaking of which, what's Lochte's story about how they got back to the Olympic village after getting robbed? Surely with no money and wallets left, they would have had to make some phone calls to get picked up at the robbery location that can be traced. And then someone would have had to pay for that post robbery ride. Or are we to believe that Lochte and company ran a marathon across the city in the middle of the night while drunk and with no directions?

I'm gonna chime in here for Ryan Lochte's defense.

was, a ladies man. But he's not the brightest bulb in the bunch.

Granted I love Ryan, his heart is swimming and he's ONE OF

THE GREATEST UNDERWATER swimmers of all time.

Ahhh, you didn't post anything defending Lochte about his crime here. Posting videos of him swimming is not a valid defence of him creating fake lies. Dear God, what type of lawyer school did you come from?

witnesses say the swimmers were at the party till almost dawn.

Sunrise in Rio would be approximately 6:15 am. Let's say you go by "dawn" and not the technical "sunrise" definition, so maybe 5:45 am. Subtract off some more time for "almost" in "almost sunrise", at it's still past the 5 am closing time at Club France.

So they were likely there until it all wound done. At least about to witnesses.
