Glad Brannen advanced.
In 2012, he looked ready to give his best shot. But then got hit from behind & fell in the semis, off memory. Zero fault to him. He's the non-USA person I'm most rooting for, in any event.

Can the people who were amazed by Rupp's sporstmanship now apology. People acted like it was amazing. I said i thought most people would do that to a training partner. Here two girls stopped to help each other from other countries.
I'm sorry for thinking it was so amazing Rojo. Maybe it was just I didn't expect it from Galen.
Maybe there is another option - can I be amazed by both acts of sportsmanship?

They let the thug from Norway run again in the last heat since he was DQed in the previous heat. He ran a clean race this time and appears to have qualified.
There are several Ingebretsens.
Abbey Dags to the final...where with an injured leg and stacked field, she'll be lucky not to get lapped. Whatever.

I'm not sure if I'd want to be in that final if i'm banged up. Lappage is seriuosly possible. If the weather is good, i think the WR coudl go. Well I dont' think it will be a fast race as everyone will just let Ayana win. With no Dibaba there is no chance anyone tries to go with her.
If the other Africans are smart, they'll just let Ayana go and run for bronze/silver. Coburn benefitted yesterday as did Clayton murphy by a lot of people racing for gold.
You are joking right??? I would WANT to be in the Olympic final even if I bleeding to death and my guts were hanging out.
so did Hamblin wrote:

Hamblin did too apparently.
Well it was clear to me Hamblin would be in the final. She was taken out from behind. Abbey was surprising as she took someone out and was placed in the final.
That being said it was all the IAAF / IOC's fault so they did the write thing.
I don't think an anyone has pointed out what caused this whole thing so I will. They were lapping a 17:32 runner.
As the main pack of runners were approaching 3200, chaos ensued as people adjusted as they were lapping Chad's Bibiro Ali Taher (17:32 pb). As the pack tried to move around Hamblin, some sped up to get by on the insider, others moved outside and some like New Zealand's Nikki Hamblin slowed to avoid Taher. As Hamblin's pace slowed, she was plowed into from behind by the 7-time NCAA champ D'Agostino and both runners went sprawling to the track.

Yes, he got whacked because he was trying to bull his way through a 6 inch opening where there wasn't space to go through. Tsfaye did the right thing and said - no there's not space here.
He ignored that fact. Blatant DQ.
"Banging and bargeing" is my new favorite expression as used repeatedly by the Englishman.
F. Ingebrigtsen is now DQd in results.

Taylor near WR but barley a foul. Still a gold medal.
He's now one an Olympic gold jumping off of both legs. Pretty amazing.
I agree with Tim Hutchings. Iw ish they would still measure the fouls. Why not? With the computer, it doesnt' take long.
Don't count it but that last jump was right near the WR.
He is DQed.
Although I am from Norway and rooting for the ngebrigtsens, it must
be fair and square.
Castlin 12.68 wins heat 1.

Or she'll recover and compete. Or she'll finish last and still have a chance to medal when all is said and done with drug testing.
Filip ingebrigtsen has been Dq'ed.
Too bad, I'm a big fan.
Big dik henrik is IN though

A shot of cortisone and she'll be good to go.
He has the wheels, no doubt. But he ran tactically very stupid.

Canadian hurdler George is stunningly gorgeous. She should automatically be given a medal.
Ali 12.72 wins heat 2
Good on the race officials to DQ the Norwegian. That was as blatant as a bulldozing as I've seen.
Are you assuming she is the only one not doping?
