They let the thug from Norway run again in the last heat since he was DQed in the previous heat. He ran a clean race this time and appears to have qualified.

Awful from Blankenship there
I wouldn't quite say that. He doesn't have the finishing wheels that a lot of those guys have, and he's probably through on time.
Makh looks amazing.
Hoping for a Makh gold seriously. Kiprop is a doped-up Rosa freak, Centro is a Salazar science experiment, Soul Man is yet another Aden crook, Kwemboi is a generic "18-year-old"..... Makh is hilarious. Run proudly and strongly, great lion.
Blankenship runs 3:38.92, will be in on time. 3rd of the 6 time qualifiers.
That Czech runner Holusa has the worst combination of mullet and man bun I have ever seen. He should be DQed on style points.

Lost at least 5 places in last 100m.
He got lucky and still advanced on time.
Man Nick Willis is a cool customer. He was 10th with 200 to go and didn't go wide. He just weaved his way in there.

No, it's a perfect combination of two things, both of which alone would be hideous. But combined, they balance out beautifully.

Willis looked the best he ever has.
Don't get carried away. Willis looked amazing in the 2012 heats. He was the epidomy of relaxed-easy, etc... Then he gassed in the final.

Filip Ingebritsen got whacked by the dude to his inside--name is Tsfaye, or something. That's what caused him to send out his right hand for balance. He was simply reacting.
Yes, he got whacked because he was trying to bull his way through a 6 inch opening where there wasn't space to go through. Tsfaye did the right thing and said - no there's not space here.
He ignored that fact. Blatant DQ.

As a clean, elite runner, it makes me sad to see that Ayana can finish looking like she just went out for a leisurely stroll and still almost break 15.
Dong Bronze, Claye silver, Taylor gold, glory jump fro Taylor now.

I'm not sure if I'd want to be in that final if i'm banged up. Lappage is seriuosly possible. If the weather is good, i think the WR coudl go. Well I dont' think it will be a fast race as everyone will just let Ayana win. With no Dibaba there is no chance anyone tries to go with her.
If the other Africans are smart, they'll just let Ayana go and run for bronze/silver. Coburn benefitted yesterday as did Clayton murphy by a lot of people racing for gold.

Taylor near WR but barley a foul. Still a gold medal.
Tsfaye can't wrestle a guy back because he doesn't want a faster runner to pass him!! How the heck is that "doing the right thing"??
Face it: your initial opinion was wrong. You didn't see what really happened at first. When you look at the replay, it is clear that Tsfaye was the culprit, as Hutchings rightly pointed out. You blew the call. It's clear from the replay, and no amount of argumentation can change that.
