Haha, I thought the same thing. Now if only Leo can get his 2012 silver upgraded and Centro could get his bronze...

Silver and Bronze for the US!!!!! AMAZING!
I like that "jogfest" was used on NBC. Someone's been reading letsrun.
1:57.8 last 800, thanks in part too Dibaba going for it with a 56.80 third 400. I wonder: if she held that 56 to the last lap would she have won.
Allen hit all but one hudle in the semi. Who gives. A crap about what the football team is doing?
Exactly my point. That is a damn good winning time in the 800m MF Olympic final or a Diamond League time trial. That was a waste of a 1500m. Just a glorified warm-up for the first half? What's the point. Not even racing the correct event basically.

Congrats to Jenny Simpson on her second major world championship. Make sure to tune in for the medal ceremony in 2019.

Penultimate lap of (800m-1200m) of 56.8 for Dibaba. Wow. Paid for it later. Anyone know Kipyegon's last 600, 800?

And they were still jogging until the last 700 basically.
USA killing it in the medal count. I think that is the 12th medal. Next is Kenya with 6.

I know everyone wants to ride Jenny Simpson's briefs, but did it not seem to anyone else like she boxed in / made contact with Rowbury about halfway through the race (before the surge)?
Hell yeah - Go Jenny! What a great race. Didn't think she would reel in Hassan in the last 50, but she sure as heck did. Would have reeled in Dibaba with another 20 meters too.
What was Jenny's last 800? 2:00?

Would Rowbury ever run her own race and stop trying to sit and kick Simpson EVERY DAMN TIME.
JENNY IS PROBABLY THE REAL GOLD MEDALIST.
2 dopers beat her.
Was Rowbury wearing a nose ring? She looked like a bull.
Muir left it in the semi.
