Anyone get a good look at the collision? My first impression is Diro got flat tired and then came to a complete stop which made everyone collide and fall

Bolt and round 1 starts in 1 hour.
Looks like someone stepped on Praught from behind, she went down, and Diro got tripped in her fall. Aisha was looking good, and finished well despite being on the ground for a bit.

Aisha Praught and the Ethiopian fell, the Ethiopian attempted to get back in it while the crowd was cheering her on, and at the line Praught waved to the crowd and acted like they were cheering HER on because she fell, while they were in fact trying to encourage Diro, the Ethiopian. LOL
Ok, I've watched the replay like 10 times.
The Ethipoian was in the lead coming intot the turn. ON one of the jumps she moved wide though and was passed on the inside so she was up fornt in 2nd or 3rd coming off the turn. Someone steeped on her right shoe and her right heel popped out.
She immediately stopped to try to put it back on - which was a bad decision as she was in the front of a big back, Naturally the girls behind her slammed into her. One of them was Paught who briefly went down and the other was Sarah Treacy of Ireland. They popped up pretty quickly as they just hit Diro and fell on their arms and got up.
Diro was trying valiantly to get her shoe on for 10 seconds to no avail. She finally gave up and tossed it and hten also stopped briefly to toss her right sock as well.
Diro was the winner in Rabat this year. 3rd in Olso. 5th at Olympics and 5th at 2013 world champs.

That Adekoya looks a bit 'masculine'...
based on what i saw, i cant see any of the protests filed (im assuming multiple federations have filed them) being accepted. Just an unfortunate incident.
The Brits should really be able to send girls who can get past the first round in the womens 400m - pathetic. Ohurougu looked pretty good tho. And a bit leaner?

Likely AR in final, but 4th or 5th. They are going to blow WR record away.
^this
The top Americans from 800 up will pick up of 5ths-8ths. Hopefully a medal somewhere, but I wouldn't be surprised if the us were completely shut out of medals.
Who was the dude who just placed 2nd in the Women's 400 heats? Wearing green, from an African country..

Wow what great drama in the discuss in this final round. Medals changing hands like crazy
We've just been told that everyone involved in the fall in heat #3 has been advanced to the wome'ns steeple final - DIro- Treacy and Praught will all make be in the 18 person final.
That's retarded
what absolutely incredible last round of the discus. Here is a quick rundown of how it went.
Kupper from estonia goes from 6th to 2nd
Jasinski from germany had been in 3rd, got bumped back to 4th but then jumped back up into 2nd.
Harting had been in 2nd, fell back to 3rd but then jumped into 1st
Malachowski had led the entire competition but could not respond to harding and had to settle for silver.
Final results
Harting
Malachowski
Jasinski
Kupper

I just looked it up and one of the top hits was a letsrun thread from Worlds last year about this very thing. Likely another sad intersex case that will be added to the upcoming semenya controversy (when she runs 1:52 in the final and wins by 4 seconds)

they are all on the official results as being advanced, with no DQs. That is going to be a shit show of a final.

Sounds like you two need to have a discussion.
