Curious, because, the supposedly "clean" athletes are BEATING the dirty athletes.
Mack Horton beat Sun Yang
Lilly King beat Yefimova
In the 4x100, Americans and other teams beat teams with dopers like Russia (with Morozov) and China (Ning Zetao, Yang)
Bolt beat Gatlin last year.
So, if the conclusion is "dirty athletes are slower than clean athletes, even with all the banned stuff in their bodies". Why they're doping?
Katinka Hosszú's case is similar to Mo Farah's case. Off the world radar before 2013/2015 (0 -zero- Olympic medals in 04'-08'-12')...changed her coach, and then...boom. Unbeatable, with an unbelievable range.
I'm not buying that.
We can always speculate, but all all we have to go on are actual drug-test results. Houzzu may be suspicious to some, but hasn't failed a drug test. Ledecky isn't suspicious to most because she has the history of results, but she is suspicious to some (including myself) given the ease of her record-breaking, but she hasn't failed a drug test.
I could be suspicious of really anyone who is performing at such a high level given the history of doping across all sports. But, I try not to be that cynical, saving my my disgust for the proven cheats. So, I'll congratulate Hozzou for now and if she's later found out to be a doper, I'll change course.
