How soon before he signs?
Just finished 9th grade? Even if older than most, how early is too early? Seems no point in facing HS comp for 3 more years, or even one.
Whatever he does, wow, i would cut back on the racing schedule. Guy is always out there.
He turns 17 next Spring, could take down Moore's incredible World Youth Record. Moore never improved on that time.

A guy named Usain Bolt ran 45.35 at age 16 ... he has done alright since then. Kirani James ran 45.24 at the same age too.
