Who cares? Its Tinder. If you can't cope with the usual type of people on Tinder, and have no objection to exchanging messages with the type of person who has a boyfriend/girlfriend, then its your own fault. Men do this all the time on Tinder, usually they're married though. Good way to avoid it - get to know people already in your social circle better instead of randoms on a dating site.

Perhaps she is feeling neglected and likes the attention. Perhaps her boyfriend and she read the messages from her suitors and laugh at your earnestness. Perhaps she is cheating on him.

There's no way to know, so it's not worth dwelling on.

Her boyfriend is tired of her and is not giving her the attention that she needs. She is seeking that out from Tinder. Some women are very needy in the amount of attention and praise they need in a relationship and some guys aren't willing to invest that much. that is my guess.

Invite her to post on LetsRun. I'm sure she'd get all sorts of attention here.

I had a girl do this to me for a while. Always strung me along even though she had a boyfriend. She never had the guts to fully commit to cheating and I didn't want to be "that guy"(due to all sorts of issues I had). She's probably crazy.

By the way, can I just say.....I think it's really weird that you complimented her back. Like,what exactly did you say? "your back looks really straight"? Or, "your posture is great". Not my business. I just hadn't ever heard of someone picking up on a chick by complimenting her back.

It's pretty obvious what was happening - she probably had a blowout fight with her boyfriend, went on Tinder and started flirting with you, then they made up and she felt no need to flirt with you. She was using you as a possible rebound until the boyfriend came back in the picture.

Ah, young guy problems. Sounds like she's toying with the idea of cheating on her boyfriend, then dumping him if the new guy works out. Seems like you didn't make the cut. Lucky you.

A friend of mine shared the following with me...

When he was in college he had a female that he was on very good terms with, they shared a lot of classes, ate together in the dining hall often, studied together etc.

So, he says to her one day "you know I'd could be open to more with you..."

She gets the drift. And then tells him:

"I'm not a good idea, I would destroy you."

He asked her what she meant. She replies:

"You see, this is my secret, I like have 5-6 men pursuing me at one time. I like to use them all for attention, and dates, and free meals, and falling in love with me, and then I dump them and move on to more."

Wisdom: Most women, at some level, are emotional children. Incredibly selfish because they can be. They own the vagina. --Figure it out. You want it, they got it, most dudes will stand on their heads and spin plates for that thing.

Just forget about it, Frank, and in the future, always check their facebook status First, and double down by asking them straight up "do you have a boyfriend, or a girlfriend I should know about?"

I have caught several friends with boy friends on TINDER!!!!!!! I never confronted them. Also, girls have done this to me all the time. They all of a sudden stop texting...or claim to have a boy friends. seen it happen a million times. Women are just evil sometimes. plain evil. and hot women think their entitled.

That's simply the only advantage of being a woman. Having a vagina which can be used to control men. At least I can walk down the street at night without fear of being raped....
