I'm completely puzzled by your response. What do you mean? I was responding to someone criticizing his running 1:51/4:30 or something like that, when my point was that with his almost nonexistent mileage and other sports, he is doing great in that transition and can be expected to run very fast miles when he starts real mileage. But running 10 or 20 or 30 or 40 miles per week would hardly injure or burn out a 14 year old.
