I have a long stretch on a busy road where there is zero shoulder. I was running on the edge of the sidewalk and a woman was pushing a bike in the middle of the sidewalk and made no effort to move over and make room for both of us (there was plenty of room).
Normally I would hop out into the road, but this time there were two lanes of oncoming cars, I wasn't about to jump in front of the cars, there was zero road shoulder and I'm sure it would have freaked out the drivers (not enough room for cars and a runner on the road).
So I held my ground on the edge of the sidewalk but braced my shoulder and laid a pretty good bump into her. Felt a little bad, but WTF, if she's not going to move over she deserved it.
Was I in the right or wrong?
