I dont understand whats his beef with lagat? BTW, lagat continued to run great times after the new epo test came out and under american testing. The guy is talented. If david wanted to focus on something, he should start speaking out about the major doping going on in kenya.

First off I'll say that DT has the right to say whatever he wants, but unless he has proof about Lagat he should expect this to go down the same path as Kara Goucher. The "accuse-es" are running and the "accusers" look like a##holes.

Like Lagat, Henry Rono went to WSU, the dude was a BEAST, despite the peripheral problems. His best runs would be competitave today, nearing 40 years ago! Some people are that good and Henry was one of them. Lagat has the longevity, but he is still a beast, some people are that good. I believe that while drugs might/may have short term benefit, long term I'd say not. Speaking for myself having only taken a multi vitamin, eating mostly decent, avoiding injury, generally having a POSITIVE OUTLOOK and not having "help" you can do well as you get older. Lagat has done all the right things, plus he has talent.

Big Wave and all his supplicants can either show proof positive about Lagat or shut up.

As a side note we likely have the talent to be BEASTS, but something about our whole training system, except for a few isn't working.

I hate to keep the same name but I've made this point before. This isn't about questioning Lagat's 3:26. It's about David Torrence publicly smearing Bernard Lagat, Olympic medal winner, American University graduate, faithful athlete to his 20 year coach, husband, father, sponsored athlete, role model to American, Kenyan, and all "an" types of kids, etc. Wejo posted this because Torrence STANDS by what he said. Crock of bloody shite. It makes me want to find DT and loom over him..I've got quite a few inches, and pound his...actually, I'll just beat him on the track. Done and done.

Interesting that a lot of the Kenyans are asking for the WADA to release their testing results before the Olympics, they actually want to prove they are running there clean.

The positive A/reversed B story would be a lot more believable if we didn't have proof that EXACTLY that strategy was used to overturn inconvenient test results.

What does Kenya's anti-doping policies have to do with any of this? He's lived full-time in the United States since 1997.
