Have read quite a few running biographies over the last couple of years. Some were great some were terrible. Liz McColgan's and Steve Moneghetti's were great, Marti Liquori's and Peter Snell's were dissapointing, Sally Gunnell's was embarrasing. When you start looking for these books there's plenty out there but what strikes me more than anything is the runners who never had a biography or who have kept it very, very quiet. One such is Eamon Coughlan another is Alberto Salazar. I havn't seen any about Dave Bedford, Sonia O'Sullivan or Kip Keino either. Perhaps there are biographies out there of some of these runners but they're sure hard to find if they have been published.
Any other suggestions for the best runner who has never had their story told?
