I carry at least 100 with me at all times. I take out 200 every few days. Mainly because paying with cash is more painful and it allows me to save more. Mamasan also only accepts cash for her 40 tips for a happy ending.

Don't you people use your phone or a card to pay for everything?
I usually have less than $20 on me in cash.
I carry $0 in my wallet. I like to keep my wallet really thin. I keep about $100-$200 in a SOG Access Card 2.0 money clip in my left front pocket.
I actually just bought a new slim wallet that doesn't hold cash. Taxis used to be my primary use of cash, now with Uber I don't need it anymore #cashlessExistence
Usually $60 - $100.
I live in South Philadelphia and MANY places are cash only.

Credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, Chase QuickPay, Bitcoin, etc. all make my life easier. No reason to carry cash anymore.
As a person who plays poker at a casino 4-5 times a week, I carry about $300-$500 in my wallet usually all the time and then I bring an extra $1,000 on the nights I play.

This. Almost all of my shopping is Amazon Prime (so, card), and when I have to buy something live and in person such as groceries or gas, I use Samsung Pay (so, phone). I never eat at restaurants unless I'm traveling, so no need for tip money.
I keep a few dollars in my pocket, but it lasts forever. I got $100 cash before a road trip back in early June, and still have *checks wallet* $63 left.
$20 or less. I use card everywhere. Might as well get those miles.
I usually have between $40 - $120 on me. Mostly, it is for gas. Where I live there is a huge price difference when paying for gas with cash vs. with a card. Since I drive so little, I only get to the ATM once or twice a month. I also use cash for purchases under $5. The card I use is 1.5% cash back.
500-3000
Take from the daily till. Mostly cash business in East LA
Can't really deposit cash in the bank
When I have less than $5 in my wallet I get a $20 from the ATM. So always between $5 and $25. For some reason I feel weird if I don't have at least some cash on me but I almost never spend any.

Using cards for everything is dumb. It makes you more likely to spend money on junk that you don't need because it's easy. If you rely on cash, it makes you stop and think about whether you really need something before you buy it. Cash is much better for sticking to a budget.
But if you buy something that's $19.23 you've essentially spent $20 because that change will not get carried around with you. And you can't track or budget your purchases.
My mom taught me to always have an emergency $20 so that's what I do. I also have a valid credit card with me

Please use Square Cash if you go that route. No middleman like PayPal or venmo. Straight from one bank account to another. Venmo shouldn't exist.

If I buy a coffee it's: Me: [Swipe] Two seconds later, Cashier: "want a receipt?" Me: "Nope." Done, and I walk away. Total transaction time: 3-4 seconds.
Cash transaction: Cashier: "Okay, that will be $2.43". Me: [digs around in wallet, finds a $5] -- 5 seconds elapsed. Cashier: [digs around in cash drawer, counts $1s, counts change, dumps it all in front of me] -- 10 seconds elapsed. Me: [pick up cash, puts it in my wallet, pick up change, put it in my pocket or their tip jar or whatever] -- 5 more seconds elapsed. Total transaction time: 20+ seconds.
You f'ing lying queef ... the cashier needs to tell you how much it is before you get to 'swipe', just like the cash transaction. You also need to "dig around in your wallet" for your credit card, just like the cash transaction. THEN you get to swipe .... at least once because you f*cked up the first swipe. Then you get to fool around with the "Accept this amount?" button. Not a whole lot of difference, if any.
If you had any f'ing wits about you you'd have your cash or credit card IN F"ING HAND by the time you get to the GDAM cashier and not wait till she tells you how much!!!
THIS much (Grabs crotch and shakes it at the OP)
I've had an unprecedented $1 in my wallet for the last month.
