This is only true for weak minded SHEEP. I'm as frugal as they come (not cheap, but frugal) and if they don't take credit cards, it better be something I really need or an extremely good deal. I'm talking everyday stuff, not a new car.
I try to keep between $20-$40 in smaller bills so I can give a couple bucks to homeless people or to the Disabled American Veterans/VFW/Shriners that sell little flowers outside the store.
