This guy seems to never be by his email as well as his assistants. You can email him yourself to see if you'd like. Has anyone had personal encounters with him or experiences? He will respond once every 10 months.

My son had an email exchange with him last summer/fall - Coach Roy asked for SAT scores and transcripts. After sending never heard back from him. Didn't take it personally, as he had other options.

Dumb thread. If you don't like how he handles his emails then don't vote for her.
What did your son run time wise and what were his grades. Thanks for info helps a lot
Maybe the coach wants to personally call the recruits that he wants on his team next year.
TRUE STORY
I was a RS-FR at a Big East school in the 90's and was helping measure shot put at a meet. I had the dumb end of a tape and an official track guy did the spotting for each throw. On one throw, G. Roy spotted where I put the tape vs. where the official pointed (off by about no more than 1") and completely went ape sh*t...he jumped into the shot put sector and was screaming at me. At the time he had decent throwers and was in the mix for the team title for sure. I just thought he overreacted. whatever dude.
Historically he manages a well rounded track AND field team. He's lucked out with a few distance runners in his past (Landreth-RIP, Wilson...) and a solid MD group. They have not had a legitimate XC team in over 25 years.
