I was out with an injury for 2 months and I have been back running now for two weeks. Today I tried to do some 1 km tempo intervals and it went pretty bad. I was only able to do 3 of them at 5:48 pace. I use to be able to do these at 5:24 pace before my injury. I have never been in this situation before where I am coming back from injury, Should I just focus on getting my aerobic strength back ? I will be at 55 miles this week. Also when should I start to do faster stuff again? sorry for the long post.
