Ban machetes or set up a national machete registry. It will automatically make people stop being violent.
Only a good guy with a machete can stop a bad guy with a machete.
Gun
Just tell the attacker you're a BLM ally.

That's cute and all, but I am fortunate to live in a state where I still have some of my constitutionally protected rights, such as the right to keep and bear Arms. I'm usually no more than an arms-length away from some personal protection. I'm well trained in how to use it too, so I usually feel pretty safe.

A pistol is pretty effective against a blade.
I practice daily with my katana. Between the anime I use to guide my soul, I would laugh at how sad it is someone brought a punt machete against my superior Japanese folded steel. I saved up my lunch money for weeks before I could afford it.

You need to ask a Jamaican this.
In Jamaican, a common way to murder someone is via Machete attack. No joke, I lived in Kingston for a few years with my parents.
Why? I have no idea because there are a lot of guns in Jamaica too.
I guess the best way to fend off an attack is to run away......Jamaicans are fast, so it makes sense.

Your best defense is not to be playing Pokemon when a machete wielding attacker is present.
Get your head out of your azz (phone) and pay attention to the real world around you.
c*** punt that a$$hole
There's a reason there are little to no convenience store robberies in Georgia....
You are going to get shot and killed.

Assphone????
Statistically your best bet against an attack of any kind is to run. Gun, machete, fist fight, doesn't matter.
And before all the gun guys jump in, I have a federal firearms license and sell as well as manufacture guns. I have a carry permit and carry a gun. I'm simply stating that by the numbers your best bet is to run.
Another fact that is often overlooked is that the vast majority or problems that one finds himself in can be avoided by paying attention to what going on around them and simply avoiding certain situations.
