Who's gone to this meet? I'm planning to go next season. What are other good SoCal meets to go to?

When it comes to those events what two countries (non USA) could rival that in a fantasy dual?
.
I used to always go but it's not up to the talented cast of the past. Mt. Sac is always the premier meet In Southern California and the Arcadia meet is good place to see top high school performers. They really should have a Diamond League meet in Southern California when the international stars come over for the Prefontaine meet. They could have a meet on the following Thursday in Los Angeles-especially since L.A. is a candidate city for the Olympic Games in 2024. It could build up the buzz and probably have some good attendance.
Thanks, Sleepy. I'm going to the next Mt. SAC meet, and they really should have a DL meet in SoCal too.
Maybe Michael Norman will run a year at USC before going pro. Would be nice to see him run there.

The DL is only 1/2 of a meet. Mt Sac should have a prize meet with just finals and skip the enormous amount funds DL meet directors spend for travel/hotel/food on visiting IAAF mucky mucks.
Bahamas, Jamaica, T&T and the U.K. are the only potential rivals that come to mind for those events, perhaps a few European countries could rival but none come to mind besides Russia.
The Caribbean nations aren't so hot in the long jump thought.

True. It is a 1/2 meet. But if I got to watch Rudisha run, I'd be OK.
The question is, why has the quality of this dual meet and the deep individual sprinting performances dropped off so significantly in recent years?
I think there's some BS going on at UCLA with the track staff. I'm sure there's other factors. Maybe someone can enlighten us here.
More of the top sprint/jumping talent comes from the South and Texas and that's where it stays.
