I'll keep this short, but I started going to PT to deal with some nagging calf / inside of shin pain. The PT gave me some stretches and things to do, and gave my calves a massage that was in pain.
But then in the second session she gave me a deep massage on the outside part of my shin (on the muscle). It hurt, and I told her that, but she acted like it was normal. Now, two days later my shin still feels painful / bruised.
Are massages supposed to cause this much pain / is it a bad idea to do it directly on the shin muscle? I'm pissed because I went for a calf issue, which was starting to feel better, and now I've had to take two days off because I didn't want to risk damaging the muscle.
